- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to enter into sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Small Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13 provisions to Gulf-Aero, Inc. for the procurement of one Hamilton Sunstrand propeller for the NU-1B (DeHavilland DHC-3 Otter) aircraft. (THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS) Unless otherwise stated herein, no additional written information is available. Request for the same will be disregarded. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is soley within the discretion of the Government. General information: Gulf-Aero, Inc is the only known firm with the propeller in stock and ready for shipment Additional Information: The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 488190 and the small business size standard is$6.5 million. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above.
