- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, is soliciting offers for two (2) Turtle Deflectors for the Dredge McFarland. The contractor is to provide all labor, services, material and equipment necessary to fabricate the turtle deflecto rs. This requirement will be using the procurement process prescribed in Part 12, Commercial Items of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. Request for Quotations will be issued under W912BU-06-T-0070. The solicitation will be available on or about 11 Au gust 2006. Solicitation documents, plans, specifications and drawings will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeds) system webpage at http://www.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a vendor with FedTeds before acces sing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeds, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) system (http://www.ccr.gov . Interested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink establ ished in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation specific data in FedTeds. Registration for updates to plans and specifications should be made on the FedBizOpps webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeds system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed through the FedBizzOpps system. Quotes must be received by 22 August 2006.
