Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform refuse collection, disposal, and cardboard recycling services at Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations. NAICS Code is 562111, size standard $11.5 million. The anticipated period of performance will be 01 November 2006 through 30 September 2007 with two option years. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED, open to both large and small business to promote full and open competition in accordance with the Small Business Competiveness Demonstration Program. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed in FAR 52.204-7. CCR can be obtained by accessing the Internet http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. CCR must be obtained before award can be made. The estimated posting date to the FedBizOps website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) of the Request For Proposal will be O/A 11 Aug 06. The proposal due date will be O/A 12 Sept 06, the exact dates will be included in the RFP when posted to FBO. Funds are presently available for this project.
