- Contractor shall furnish all management, supervision, labor, parts, material, and equipment necessary to perform Base/AMARC Grounds Maintenance Services at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Arizona. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract. The work is described as follows: Maintain improved grass, improved desert landscaping, semi-improved grass, tree trimming and pruning, policing, weeding, fertilizing and watering improved grounds IAW Performance Work Statement. Period of performance will be a twelve month basic period and four one year options. Anticipated start date is 1 October 2006. This requirement is 100% set-aside for HUB-zone business. The applicable North American Industry Classification Code for this solicitation is 561730. The Request for Proposal will be issued using Past Performance/Price Trade-Off IAW FAR 15.101-1 resulting in the Best Value to the Government. Past performance is significantly more important than price. This announcement constitutes the solicitation, proposals are being requested and paper copies will not be available. NOTE: All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for contract award.
