Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Medical Center, San Juan, Puerto Rico intends to negotiate a sole source purchase contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. Only one responsible source has been identified, Sun Nuclear Corporation, 425A Pineda Court, Melbourne, FL 32940-7508. The following equipment has been identified under the intend contract: (1) MapCHECK System, Model 1175000-0; (2) Isocentric MapCHECK, Model 1175000-1. The purchase includes notebook computer and hardware/software maintenance. This notice is not a request for competitive quotes, but responses received by August 19, 2006 2:00 PM Puerto Rico time will be evaluated. A determination by the Contracting Officer not to compete this action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
