- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Augusta, GA (VISN 7), is issuing a solicitation for preventive maintenance of swimming and therapeutic pool which includes draining, cleaning, waxing and refilling therapeutic spa to include handrails, cleaning scum line and handrails on swimming pool weekly. Vacuuming pool weekly, and check for correct chemical balance weekly. Contractor will clean all ceramic tile floors in the entire pool and sap area and clean grates in overflow area every month. Floors are to be scrubbed using appropriate floor cleaning equipment. The solicitation will be issued on/about 10 Aug 2006. The NAICS code for this procurement is 561790, with a small business size standard of $6.0 million. This procurement is 100 % set aside for small business.
