- Description
- Furnish and deliver F.O.B. Destination to Massena, NY, Ekki (Lophira Procera) timbers. All timbers shall be in 10 ft (3.05 m) lengths. The following dimensions are the cross-sectional dimensions of each timber prior to one corner being beveled. Item No. 1 - 14 in (35.6 cm) x 10.25 in (26.0 cm), with exposed heart - Qty 75 each; Item No. 2 - 14 in (35.6 cm) x 13.25 in (33.7 cm), with boxed heart - Qty 50 each. All timbers shall be free from sapwood, rot, wane, cracks other than normal checking, and any other such defects. Delivery is required by May 1, 2007. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded on or about September 25, 2006. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be available for downloading from www.fedbizopps.gov on August 24, 2006. Hard copies of the RFQ may be requested by fax to (315)764-3268 or e-mail to Patricia.White@sls.dot.gov. The proposed procurement will be a total small business set-aside. All eligible and responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Saint Lawrence Seaway Development Corporation. Written quotations must be received by September 21, 2006. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is mandatory for award. Register at www.ccr.gov. Attention: Minority, women-owned, and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
