Description: Requires the services of a licensed medical physician to work on our site for a maximum of 12 hours per week using our facilities, equipment, and supplies. Must have graduated from an accredited medical school and have a valid physician license to practice in the State of California. Provide medical services for trainees ages 16 thru 24. Includes exams, diagnosis and treatment of illness and injury, detection and control of communicable diseases, records keeping, effective referrals for special care and participating in medical health education programs. MTC provides nurses and medical assistants. Psychiatric experience is desirable. Must have a valid controlled substance registration certificate issued by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency. Must have liability and malpractice insurance and name MTC as additional insured. This site is a U.S. Department of Labor Job Corps Center operated under contract to MTC, with a student population of 310.
