- Description
- The U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield, MO, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, intends to make a sole source award to U.S. Filter/Siemens Water Technology, located in Tulsa, OK. This requirement is to expand the current dialysis water treatment system. The system is required to be compatible and the system must be FDA 510K accreditation approved for use with the Dialysis System. The U.S. Medical Center is expanding their Dialysis unit from a 30 to 42 beds. To the best of our knowlege, this system upgrade can only be provided from U.S.Filter/Siemens, who currently designed and installed the original system. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of this published synopsis. Responses received will be evaluated, however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the USMCFP Springfield will proceed with the sole-source negotiated award to US Filter/Siemens. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
