- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Talladega, Alabama, intends to issue solicitation RFQ 31303-0123-06 for the provision of Burial Services for the Federal Correctional Institution located in Talladega, Alabama. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm fixed unit prices. It is estimated the contract will include burial services to include casket and shipping for approximately 3 deaths for the base year and for each of four (4) option years. The contract period shall be from the effective date of award through 12 months from effective date of award and four 12-month option periods for renewal. The solicitation will be available on or about August 14, 2006, and will be distributed solely through the website at www.fedbizopps.gov. The North American Industry Classification System is 812210. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments will be distributed through the website. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about September 08, 2006. The anticipated date of award is October 01, 2006. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contract for which they are eligible.
