- The Federal Bureau of Prisons - Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the provision of Optometrist services for the inmate population at the Federal Correctional Complex Florence, located in Florence, Colorado. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government. The contract shall consist of a base year and the possibility of four option years. The estimated number of sessions (a session equals one hour) is 432 sessions for the base year and 432 sessions for each of the possible option years. The solicitation will be available on or about August 16, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
