Description
The Department of Housing and Urban Development intends to issue a solicitation to procure Property Management and Relocation services. The Department anticipates making a single award as a result of the solicitation. The firm awarded this contract will be responsible for managing a significant amount of federal funds necessary to pay property management and relocation costs directly reimbursed to associated third parties. Examples of relocation costs are: Transportation Expenses, Moving Expenses and Security Deposits. Examples of property management costs are: Payroll Costs (Including Health Insurance), Petty Cash and Security Deposit Account Fees. This element, along with all facets, of the pricing structure of this requirement will be explained thoroughly in the upcoming solicitation. It is anticipated that an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (Task Order) type contract will be awarded. The anticipated period of performance covers a twelve (12) month base period with four 12-month option periods. This procurement is a 100% 8(a) competitive set aside. The assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 531110, with a small business size standard of $6.5 million average annual receipts for the last three years. To be eligible for award, all offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov at the time of award. All interested 8(a) vendors under NAICS Code are encouraged to submit a proposal. The RFP will be available on or about 15 days after this notice is published and proposals will be due approximately forty-five (45) days thereafter. This Notice and the subsequent RFP will be posted on HUD's Internet Home Page at http://www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contract.cfm. Potential offerors who download copies of the solicitation from HUD's Internet site will not automatically receive amendments to the solicitation. You are advised to check the HUD website frequently to see if HUD has issued any amendments to the solicitation. All amendments will be posted to FedBizOpps and the HUD Homepage Contracting Opportunities website.
