- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to NanoDrop Technologies, Wilmington, DE for a Spectrophotometer. This equipment are use a patented sample retention system that enables accurate and reproducible analysis of 1 microliter samples. This technology uses surface tension to hold the sample in place, eliminating the need for cuvettes or capillaries. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued. 3However, information received will be considered solely for information purposes only. This procurement is set-aside for small business.
