- The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with MAXatrax Systems, Inc. of Upper Marlboro, MD to retro-fit existing exhibit displays originally acquired from MAXatrax Systems, Inc.. ????????????????The purpose of this procurement is to create National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) 200th celebration exhibit display materials. The NOAA 200th Anniversary Exhibit Working Group is creating exhibit display materials to highlight the various line office programs, products, services and employee contributions. The exhibit materials will be used at meetings, conferences, festivals, and other outreach events. The NOAA 200th Anniversary Exhibit Working Group will oversee the development, content, layout and production of said displays. The contractor shall provide the following services in the creation of exhibit display materials: o Graphic/Imagery development. o Display transparencies, laminated on both sides o MAXawave Exhibit Displays. o Hanging Banners to be affixed on top of existing Abex exhibit. Notwithstanding the Government?s intent to negotiate on a sole source basis, responsible sources may submit a response which, if timely received, will be considered by NOAA. Responses must be submitted by Friday, August 18, at 3:00 Eastern Time. This notice satisfies the public display requirement set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(2)
