- Description
- Project Title: Sherman Pass Scenic Byway for the Colville National Forest. This acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for certified small business concerns located in a Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone). NAICS code is 237310, size standard is $31.0 million. The work consists of, but not limited to, clearing, demolition of existing facilities, grading, placing aggregate surfacing, installing drainage structures, traffic signs and guardrail, and asphalt paving in the construction of the East and West Gateway Information Sites and the new White Mountain Interpretive Site along State Route 20 between towns of Republic and Kettle Falls, Washington. This project also includes construction of timber, concrete and stone masonry orientation kiosks, covered overlook structure, and various site and route identification signs. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, tools and transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specifications and provisions of the contract. This acquisition will result in a firm fixed price contract. This project will be advertised as a written proposal. Estimated issue date for the solicitation is on or about June 27, 2006. Proposals will be due on or about August 24, 2006. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
