Description

The Aboveground Fuel Storage Tank Removal Project for the San Bernardino National Forest is located in San Bernardino & Riverside County, California. The project consists of removal and disposal of 14 fuel storage tanks located in various locations throughout the Forest. Work includes transportation of tanks and demolition of concrete slabs. All work to be done in accordance with Statement of Work. The project also includes associated piping, dispensers, electrical, foundations and appurtenances in accordance with all Federal, State and local laws. The work shall also include obtaining permits, excavation, backfill, repair of asphalt or concrete, soil sample collection and analysis. The requirements for removal of aboveground storage tanks are different for each county. The work site is located at 8 different sites on the forest. A Vicinity map and Appendix A with site locations will be posted with the Solicitation package. The recommended contract time is 60 calendar days. Contractors must be registered in Central Contractors Registry BEFORE a proposal is submitted. Proposals will not be considered without a CCR number. Registration can be done online at http://www.ccr.gov. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS code 238910 Size Standard $13.0 million. Solicitation Package will be posted in approximately 15 days. Offer due by noon September 13, 2006.
