- The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), International Services (IS); Europe, Africa and Middle East Region, has a requirement for workshops on high consequence animal pathogens(HCAP) and surveillance to be held in Kyrgyzstan. An example of tasks that will be required of the awardee are the following: recruitment of upwards of 90 students from the Republic of Kyrgyz; securing a venue for the workshops; providing upwards of 3 workshops on HCAP and Surveillance; tracking students and workshop results in a database; providing briefings in Brussels, Belgium and in Kyrgyzstan to Government stakeholders; providing a final report. These services will be required for a period of up to 12 months from date of award. The Government intends to award a competitive commercial contract resulting from the pending solicitation using trade-off evaluation procedures. The applicable NAICS code is 541690 with a size standard of $6.5 million. This requirement is a small business set-aside.
