Description
Sources Sought Notice: The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA/VA), James A. Haley Veteran's Hospital located in Tampa, FL, is conducting a market survey to determine the availability of SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESSES capable and interested in providing Institutional (Hospital) Construction and/or Maintenance/Repair Services, at the Department of Veterans' Affairs, VA Orange County Outpatient Clinic (OPC) located at 5201 Raymond Street, Orlando, FL. Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all parts, tools, labor, equipment, supplies, travel, expertise, supervision, etc., to install Indoor Halo Grounding/Bonding system in the Radio room at/in the Radio/Repeater room on the High bay roof of Bldg. 500. This is to include; #2 strand wire completely around the room, approx. 6” from the ceiling, attached to the new Master Ground Bus (MGB) bar, which will be connected to the single point ground that is located in the southeast of the radio/repeater room door. All other bonding connections will be attached to the MGB. The anticipated performance period is approximately thirty (30) calendar days after issuance of the Notice To Proceed (NTP) or the Award Notice. The project magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. Any resulting procurement would be conducted under authority listed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12, 13, 15 and 36 as applicable. The applicable NAICS Code is 238210 and the size standard is $13 million dollars. Responses to this notice shall determine if sufficient competition exists in the small business community in order to set this procurement aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. The anticipated release date of the solicitation package is 18 May 2006. All qualified and interested parties WITH PRIOR EXPERIENCE DOING THIS OR SIMILAR WORK are encouraged to participate, and address the following issues: indicate business size provide DUNS #; provide statement concerning specific related experience with the requirement listed; provide details concerning contract experience with Federal Government entities, particularly with the VA; and provide details on how firm will satisfy the requirements listed in FAR 52.219-27(c)(1). Please provide notice of your interest in this requirement, with requested information, by responding to this notice no later than 2:30 PM EST 05 May 2006. NOTE: THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL/QUOTATION, NOR AN INVITATION FOR BID; THE DVA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS OF ANY KIND; THE DVA RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SOLICIT THIS REQUIREMENT AS APPROPRIATE. However, all aspects of this notice shall be deemed incorporated and a part of any resulting Solicitation.
