- Description
- The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency is seeking sources who can provide a broad array of remote connections for its approximately 2,000 bank examiners (2/3 of the OCC workforce) who need remote access across the United States and the world via the internet to the OCC network via their laptops. A very high number of points of access are required because the OCC examiners depend on access at all times in order to perform their daily functions and the OCC?s mission. As a minimum the OCC requires: Global Dial-up Points of Access: 22,000 (in 100+ countries) Broadband Connectivity (Wired and Wireless): 25,000 Wireless (Wi-Fi) Connectivity: 22,000 Worldwide The OCC also requires the vendor to provide on-line training for each OCC user of the service. The OCC also requires the vendor to provide pooling by hours for dial-up; and pooling by access of broadband by number of connections. Vendors who can provide all of the above services should submit the details of the service offered on each of the above and the (approximate) price per user per month assuming 1,000 users (the figure used for this sources sought). Responses must be clear that each of the above minimum requirements can be provided by the vendor at the price indicated.
