- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format prescribed in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N40442-06-T-5049, and it is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This is a small business set-aside. NAICS 333415 applies. The small business size standard is 100 employees. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable. Military Sealift Fleet Support Command (MSFSC), Virginia Beach, VA intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the following: contract line item number (CLIN) 0001: Overhaul of York RN82B-12 Cargo Refrigeration Compressor for USNS NIAGARA FALLS. S/N: GHE166305 Utilizing R-12 Refrigerant. The air conditioning compressor is a York RS122B S/N: 44381801-9122109 utilizing R-134a refrigerant. Contractor shall provide labor and materials to take delivery of one cargo refrigeration compressor and one air conditioning compressor at the MSC BATS warehouse, San Diego, Ca. The contractor is to re-build each compressor to manufacturers original equipment (OEM) requirements. Each compressor is to be factory tested for at least one hour to validate performance. Factory test report to be provided with delivery documents. Contractor is to ship each compressor back to the MSC BATS Warehouse at the completion of each overhaul. FOB Origin. Required Delivery Date: 15 Oct 06 at MSCBATS, San Diego, Ca.
