- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has a requirement for a Stewardship Contracting south of Susanville, California. The purpose of this contract is to provide services for fuels reduction and forest health. This includes furnishing all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work required. Note: All merchantable material to be removed (fuels removal and biomass) will be purchased from the Government and paid for at the total offer value. The period of performance is negotiable and it is a multi-year contract. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small businesses under NAICS 115310. A pre-proposal site tour has been scheduled for August 18, 2006 at 8:30 AM. Participants meet at: Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Susanville Field Office, 2950 Riverside Drive, Susanville, Ca. Potential offerors are to provide their own transportation at no cost to the Government. The Government assumes no liability on behalf of offerors attending the site visit. Offerors intending to attend the site visit tour shall contact Don Dockery (530-252-5313) or Eagle Lake Field Office Front Desk (530-257-0456) at least 8 hours before the scheduled site visit and advise him/her of the firms' name and number of persons that will attend.
