- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, intends to award a firm fixed price type contract to perform weed control and planting of approximately 230 acres of the Sandy River Delta Park. Performance under this contract shall include, but no t be limited to, hand mowing, hand weeding, weed whacking, limited tractor mowing, spot tilling, planting and limited use of herbicides, as directed by the Government. Work shall begin early September 2006. This solicitation is open to small businesses o nly. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 115310 with a small business standard size of $6.5 million in volume.
