- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announces its intention to negotiate and issue a sole source award for the requirement of 1 EACH, In Track Software license with Progressive Consulting Technologies, Inc., Macon, Georgia. The purpose of the purchase is to have a secure web-based database system to support the Enhanced Perinatal Surveillance (EPS) project, the Medical Monitoring Project (MMP), and other initiatives. The Progressive Consulting Technologies, Inc., is the only vendor with an instrument that meets all the requirements under the aforementioned projects. CDC intends to negotiate this requirement with Progressive Consulting Technologies, Inc., under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, HHSAR 306.302-1, and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1). The sole source procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with FAR Subpart 13 procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested parties who believe they possess the capabilities to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their abilities to meet this requirement.
