This is not a Soliciation/Request for Proposal. The Soliciation/Request for Proposal will be forth coming and will be available via the DSCC Website address (URL) is http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/rfp/. The response date referenced above is estimated. Issue date is on or about 08/23/06, with the Response date on or around 09/25/06. Note: Copies of this solicitation will only be available via the World Wide Web. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Approved source: Aviation Devices & Electronic Components (1NPE1) Part number AKH60000-1. This will be a large purchase contract for firm-fixed price. Incremental quantities will be 12-37 and 38 to 87. The basic quantity will be for approximately 70 kt. All 70 pieces will be shipped to New Cumberland, PA. FEDERAL, MILITARY AND COMMERCIAL SPECIFICATIONS CANNOT BE PROVIDED BY DSCC. While price is a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
