- REQUIREMENTS: The Advanced Acquisition Program (AAP) is a monthly opportunity for offering building space for lease to the Federal Government. In order to register to participate, participants must first notify the Contracting Officer by email at Tracy.Harter@gsa.gov. You will be asked to complete an electronic registration form and the Government will notify you by email once a Solicitation for Offers (SFO) is posted. When you receive this email notification, you can submit your offer. GSA will be implementing an on-line offer submission web site in the next 60 days in which you will be asked to re-register on-line in order to receive future notification of the government?s space needs. The United States Government is seeking to lease, in increments of up to 150,000 BOMA Rentable Square Feet or up to 140,000 ANSI/BOMA Office Area Square Feet, office space to satisfy new lease requirements, compete existing leases for potential replacement, and potential occupancy for short emergency housing lease terms. The Government will relocate from existing space under lease if economics involved and other factors prove to be favorable. The cost of moving, telecommunications, alterations, impact on agency mission and other variables to be determined by the Government, will be considered in the relocation decision in order to determine the best value to the Government. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and/or combine multiple space requirements. OCCUPANCY: Space must be ready for commencement of tenant alterations between Summer 2006 and Spring 2007. DELINEATED AREA: All properties offered to the Government in conjunction with this requirement must be located within a portion of BEXAR COUNTY, STATE OF TEXAS and will be further explained in the leasing SFO under ?Area of Consideration?. LEASE TERM: UP TO 10 YEARS HOW TO OFFER SPACE: At this time, the government is only seeking expressions of interest from property owners with available vacant space. On-line offer submissions for pricing will be requested when the on-line offer system is implemented. Anyone responding to this ad will be notified by email when on-line automation is available.
