- The Internal Revenue Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) TIRMS-06-R-00005 for the removal and replacement of approximately 6,300 existing floor tiles, and for the removal and replacement of approximately 6,600 square feet of existing raised floor tiles, stringer system, 10 LF of ramp, 50 LF of handrails, and 20 LF of ramp wall in three (3) area locations at the Internal Revenue Service, Austin Service Center, Submission Processing Building, 3651 S. IH35 Austin, Texas 78741. This requirement will be a negotiated construction contract using best value procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238340 and the size standard is $13.0. A site visit will be scheduled and information on date and time will be available in the solicitation; all interested parties are strongly encouraged to participate in the site visit. Solicitation will be available on or before August 8, 2006. In addition, all interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database.
