- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. The Navy has a requirement for CLIN 0001 production quantity AN/AAQ-30 Target Sight Systems - minimum quantity of 9 each and a maximum quantity of 20 each. CLIN 0002 associated data, CLIN 0003 Provisioning item orders, CLIN 0004 Turret Handling sets - minimum 1 maximum 5 each, and CLIN 0005 TSS shipping containers ?minimum 1 each maximum 20 each. The contract minimum is 9 each CLIN 0001 and is anticipated to be ordered with the first delivery order. The quantity on subsequent orders for CLIN 0001 will be 1 each as the minimum order quantity, and the contract maximum for CLIN 0001 is 20 each over the 3 year ordering period. The government intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control, 5600 Sand Lake Road, Orlando FL, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. It is anticipated this action will result in a Firm Fixed Price IDIQ contract with a 3-year ordering period. Delivery will be 1 each within 540 days of order award, to continue at a rate of 1 each every 30 days thereafter until the order is complete. Inspection and acceptance will be at origin by representatives of the Government. Transportation will be FOB Destination. See Note 22 and 26. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about 19 August 2006 on FEBBIZOPPS and the NSWC Crane website at www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed.
