- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332312, with a small business standard of 500 employees. The acquisition is a firm-fixed contract. Purchase two (2) 35' Trail Bridges and two (2) 20' Trail Bridges; 1) fully engineered Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) Composite Truss Span bridge; 2) all components shall be fabricated from FRP composite profiles and structural shapes as required; 3) Handrail height 54", fiberglass support trusses; 4) 4 midrails; 5) A307 galvanized hardware and steel bolts required to connect the bridge superstructure together; 6) Color- green; 7) mounting clips and associated hardware; 8) #2 Pressure treated 3" x12" Southern Yellow Pine Decking; 9) and design live load 85 psf/Sweco excavator - 10K#. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, apply. FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation Commercial Items. Evaluation Factors: 1) Award will be made to the responsible offeror on the basis of the lowest evaluated price, 2) drawings and specifications that must be submitted. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 51.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items are applicable. Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor to be awarded a government contract must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors may register at http://www.ccr.gov. Failure to register will make an offeror ineligible for award. Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All the representations and certifications which used to be submitted within Section K are now located online. Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), can be completed at http://orca.bpn.gov. All responsible sources may submit an offer.
