- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is for a Base and Four Option Years. Medical Gases Statement of Work 1. Vender will provide, install, and maintain a 1500 gallon bulk liquid oxygen storage tank, the associated controls & piping at no charge to McDonald Army Health Clinic, Building 576 Fort Eustis, Virginia. This will include all necessary connections to th e Facility main cut off valve. Testing for certification will be provided by the Facility. 2. One Vendor will provide all cylinder gases used throughout the Facility and Clinics and the bulk oxygen product used in the Operating Rooms. This will insure one point of contact if any problems arise with equipment repairs or product delivery. 3. Normal deliveries of bulk oxygen product will occur during normal working hours 0700 1500 (7am 3pm) Monday thru Friday with exception of Holidays. Advance notice of 2 days is required to have Facility Personnel present for receiving and testing of p roduct. The Government reserves the right to exercise its option years. Should the decision be made not to exercise, the Government accepts the liability of cost to remove the contractor provided equipment. Estimated cost for installation / removal of contractor supplied equipment will be supplied for each year. 5.In case of emergency the vender will have a response time requirement. Mechanical Repairs. 3 hours Bulk oxygen delivery. 4 hours 6. The vender will supply a list of telephone numbers and points of contact for these emergencies. 7. The vender will comply with all applicable Safety and Code requirements for medical gases.
