Description

The U.S. Army RDECOM Acquisition Center, Edgewood Contracting Division intends to negotiate with Booz Allen and Hamilton, Inc., McLean, VA for a one year extension (01 Sep 06 through 31 Aug 07) to the existing task order 9F3RPK-00-0-0001. The task o rder is the result of a competitive award under GSA's Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) GS09K99BHD0002. The current task is for IT Services in which Booz Allen and Hamilton currently provides management support of an Internet based science, math and technology competition for 6th thru 9th graders, called the eCybermission Program. The proposed one year extension will allow the Government to complete the preparation of the follow on solicitation that will be issued on a full and open competitive b asis in the near future and prevent any lapse in competition management. Booz Allen and Hamilton has provided all task order services since the inception of the eCYBERMISSION competition and as such has gained a unique understanding of the program. This is not a request for proposal. See numbered note 22.
