Description
This is a Sources Sought Synopsis ONLY. Requests for copies of solicitations will not receive a response. The Product Manager for Weapons of Mass Destruction-Civil Support Systems (PM WMD-CSS) is conducting a market survey to identify companies with the capability to provide chemical, biological, and radiological (CBR) sampling, detection and identification equipment, personal protection equipment (PPE), and decontamination equipment to be used by Civil Support Teams (CST). CSTs have been developed an d fielded by the Army National Guard to support civil authorities at a domestic chemical, biological, nuclear, radiological or high explosive (CBRNE) incident site. PM WMD-CSS is interested in personal protection equipment, decontamination equipment, and portable sampling, detection and identification equipment for Chemical Warfare Agents (CWA)/ Toxic Industrial Chemicals/ Toxic Industrial Materials (TIC/TIM), Biologi cal Warfare Agents (BWA) and Radiological Materials. No other specifications or information other than what is shown above is available at this time. Only those companies which have the capability to provide this equipment need to respond to this announc ement. Interested companies must submit a written request to pmwmdcss@battelle.org and include company name, address, telephone and facsimile numbers, point of contact and informational brochures. Companies that meet program requirements will be provided a user name and password within five (5) days after receipt of the above information to access an on-line survey. Companies will be required to provide additional equipment information via the on-line survey, to include all logistic information, associated ancill ary equipment, 3rd party test data and certifications if available. Companies that have provided information to the survey in the past are requested to review their information and ensure it is up to date. The survey will be available for vendor input on 08 August 2006 and will close 30 September 2006. Participation in the PM WMD-CSS survey is voluntary, and the government does not intend to pay any costs associated with this sources sought announcement. Failure to provide detailed information to the survey may limit opportunities for product(s) to be considered for future requirements associated with this program.
