- Description
- The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) has a requirement for project, Outpatient Services Improvements. Work includes general construction, alterations, walks, grading, drainage, mechanical and electrical work, utility systems, and necessary removal of existing structures and construction and certain other items in compliance with the specifications and drawings of the solicitation and in accordance with all applicable rules, standards, and regulations necessary to complete the work specified. Project completion time is one hundred and eighty (180) calendar days. The NAICS code is 236220 with the small business size standard of $31 million. The proposed procurement listed herein is a competitive set-aside 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concern. The construction cost range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Solicitation will be available on or about 8/17/06 to interested parties through electronic data interchange at http://www.fedbizopps.gov for downloading freee of charge. The bidder is responsible to download all amendments from the website identified above without further notice from the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System. Bidders must go to the fedbizopps website at http://www.fbo.gov to be entered on the Bidders Mailing List and to obtain copies of the Bidders Mailing List.Hard copy requests must be in writing submitted to Lynne Dickerhoff at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System 04A1-H, 7180 Highland Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Pre-bid conference will be scheduled during the week of 8/21/06. An amendment will be forthcoming as soon as a firm date and time has been determined. Bid opening will be 9/18/06 at 10:00am at the VAPHS, 7180 Highland Drive, Bldg 4, 3rd floor, conference room 373e.
