- The United States Agency for International Development in Egypt (USAID) is issuing Request for Proposal (RFP) number 263-06-037 seeking highly qualified firms and organizations with strong backgrounds and experience in education to assist in the delivery in its programs designed to improve the quality of basic education. A range, of specific education project and activities with clear deliverables in different target specialties, is anticipated. Interested firm and organization should have an established presence and register office in Egypt as the work under this contract will begin immediately after contract award. Local firms and organizations are highly encouraged to reply. The required specialties include. USAID anticipates the award of Indefinite Quantity Contracts to 5-10 contractors for any one or combination of the above areas. A multiple-award Indefinite Quantity Contracts with a shared ceiling of $9 million U.S Dollars will be awarded to an estimated 5 to 10 offerors. The contract terms will be 3 years. Individual tasks will not exceed $250,000 US Dollars, and will be of short duration, usually less than six months. $2,500 will be guaranteed minimum amount under each contract. Firms interested in submitting proposal must confirm their interest by written notification to the following e-mail:eduiqc@usaid.gov. The RFP will be available not less than 15 days after this notice is issued. No phone requests will be accepted. Receipt of this RFP through the internet must be confirmed by written notification to the following e-mail:eduiqc@usaid.gov, this will allow USAID/Egypt to distribute any clarifications or revisions to the RFP to interested parties.
