- MARKET RESEARCH SPECIAL NOTICE-Solicitation is not available at this time: Proposed contract N62467-06-R-9161, CONSTRUCT PAGE FIELD SHOWER FACILITY (PI0607R), Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina, listed herein is being considered for 100% 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB Set-Aside. All interested 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns will notify this office via email of their intention to submit a proposal on the proposed contract as Prime no later than 10 July 2006. NOTE: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB firms: This notification/submittal MUST include (1) Name, address, and small business size status of the firm; (2) past performance references; evidence of contracts of similar size and complexity, qualifications (construction costs between $500,000 and $1,000,000); The project information shall include, at a minimum, the following information: (i) the contract name or number, completion date of the project, and the total cost of the project; (ii) the names and telephone numbers of the facility or installation for whom the work was performed; (iii) the name and telephone number of a supervisory level point of contact at each facility or installation who has knowledge of the performance of the entity or entities. If adequate interest is not received from 8(a), HUBZone or SDVOSB concerns, then the requirement will be issued unrestricted. In addition, if adequate interest is received from 8(a) HUB Zone or SDVOSB concerns, it is the Contracting Officer's determination on how the project will be set-aside in accordance with applicable procedures. This project includes clearing and grubbing wooded area, cutting, filling, and grading of the site, construction of an approximately 1,875 square foot brick veneered, CMU, slab on grade building with fiberglass asphalt shingled roof, housing showers, toilets, and changing areas with heating, and ventilation, side walk, utilities construction and connections, grassing and incidental related work. The work includes relocating two commercial gas fired water heaters and two gas furnaces. NAICS is 236210: INDUSTRIAL BUILDING CONSTRUCTION with a size standard of $31 million.
