- Description
- DESCRIPTION Capable sources are sought to furnish all plant, labor, equipment, materials, supervision, and warranties for installation of high expansion foam fire suppression system and enclosure of primary electrical panels in Hangars 3 and 4 at McChord AFB, WA. Work will consist of replacement of existing sprinkler systems in the hangars with new systems, including high expansion foam, and new control rooms for the high expansion foam delivery system. This is a firm-fixed price contract with an estimated magnitude between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220, with a Small Business Size Standard of $13.0 million. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities, and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 2:00 PM local time on June 23, 2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications ARE NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Sources shall include in their information, a detailed capabilities statement stating their experience in providing the same or similar work described in this notice, a point of contact with phone and e-mail information, business status (Socio-Economic Factors: 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business), business size based on NAICS 238220, and a positive statement of interest to submit a proposal. This Sources Sought is an advance notice for information and planning purposes only and is not a solicitation. In order to receive an award from any resultant solicitation, should one be issued, the successful offeror must be Central Contractor Registered (CCR). The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov/.
