Description

Provide, install and test a materials handling system for the Aerial Mail Terminal (AMT) at Incheon Int’l Airport, Seoul, Korea. The system consists of a free-standing mezzanine system, vertical reciprocating conveyor, a conveyor lane with two extendable conveyors and slider bed conveyor sections, three processing stations to include scale stands and gravity roller conveyor sections, three mobile cabinet workstations with one edge of dock leveler. The project also includes an option for four inbound sortation systems consisting of a zip code sorter, diverter and chute, and delivery of an initial kit of spare parts. Classroom and/or hands-on training of Government personnel on the operation and maintenance of the equipment is also required. The solicitation will include Ombudsman Clause AFMCFARS 5352.201-9101. The approximate solicitation issue date is 11 May 06. All proposals received from responsible sources will be considered; fax and e-mail proposals are not authorized.
