- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR FABRICATIONOF COMPOSITE HONEYCOMB SANDWICH CARRIER STRUCTURE TEST PANELS. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to: 1. Amend the small business set-aside restriction and change it to Unrestricted-Full and Open. 2. Section 2.2 Fabrication Requirements, the following is changed to: Section 2.2.8 The target delivery schedule for panels shall be as shown in Table 4. Table 4 title is changed as follows: Table 4 - Target Delivery Schedule for Composite Sample Panels 3. Section 4.2 Acceptance Review Notification is changed to: The Contractor shall contact the Contracting Officer and COTR no less than three (3) weeks before each scheduled delivery to arrange for an Acceptance Review. 4. Section 6.0 Deliverable Items, the following is changed to: 6.1 The Composite honeycomb panels shall be ready for inspection by NASA at the Contractor site two (2) weeks before each scheduled delivery. After inspection and acceptance, the Contractor shall deliver the Composite honeycomb sandwich panels as per Section 2.0, Table 4. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to August 11, 2006, at 4:30 p.m. EST. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on July 24, 2006. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
