- NASA/GRC has a requirement for: 1.) FM Demodulator (quantity required 4 each) 2.) Self-Compensating Oscillator (quantity required 4 each) 3.) Demodulator Rack (quantity required 1 each) 4.) Switch & indicator Module (quantity required 1 each) 5.) Blank Panel (quantity required 4 each) 6.) Oscillator Enclosure quantity required 1 each) NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Tyco Thermal Controls. The items on this order will be used as an extension to existing systems of hardware and software. This hardware must connect to and be compatible with existing probes. Furthermore, the hardware must interface with and be compatible with an extensive existing data collection system. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 12 noon local time on 08/14/2006. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
