- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Office, Stennis Space Center, MS intends to issue a sole source award to Teledyne Benthos., North Falmouth, MA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The requirement is for two (2) each Deep Sea Acoustic Transponding Release, one (1) Acoustic Deck Set ? 4 Channel and six (6) acoustic release spare expendable link assembly in accordance with the Salient Characteristics. The anticipated contract value is $40,450.00. This action is unrestricted and will be conducted orally in accordance with FAR 12 and FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. NAICS 334511 with business size of 750 employees applies. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This synopsis is published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive offers. Any inquiries concerning this requirement are to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22.
