- Description
- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, in support of Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Bremerton, WA is soliciting for a firm, fixed price, supply type contract for two (2) each 18 Ton Air Conditioning Units. Units shall include an 18 Ton (or larger) water-cooled chiller and high static head evaporator fan. Units to have a capacity of at least 216,000 BTU/hr cooling (18 tons) with ambient air temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit dry bulb, 72 degrees Fahrenheit web bulb and condenser cooling water inlet temperature of 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Overall dimensions, including the skid base and framework, shall not exceed 4.5 feet wide, 9 feet long and 9 feet high. Additional specifications will be available in the solicitation. The commercial solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside on or about 11 August 2006 with a closing date of 22 August 2006. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to joshua.c.carter@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. Please do not call with questions regarding the posting of the solicitation on NECO until after the posting date, 11 August 2006. No bidder list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFQ and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. To be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. Electronic submission of proposals/quotes is not available at this time.
