- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov/ and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Newport intends to place a fixed price order with National Instruments, Austin, TX one a sole source basis for the following: 2 ea. PN 777551.11, PXI 1000B 3U Chasis 8 Slot with Power Supply; 1 ea. PN 763000.01, 120 VAC Power Cord; 2 ea. PN 779176.01, PXI 5421.8 MB; 2 ea. PN 778827.01, SMB 112 Double Shielded SMB to BNC Male Coax Cable, 50 Ohm, 1m; 1 ea. PN 778739.01, PXI 2529 High Density Multiconfiguration Matrix; 1 ea. PN 778840.01, TB2634 Terminal Block 4x32 Matrix; 1 ea. PN 779647.10, PXI4110 Triple Output DC Power Supply; and 1 ea. PN 779540.01, PXI.CardBus8310, StarFabric Kit with 3m cabling. Delivery is to be to Newport, RI within 30 days. The basis for the sole source is that the items are replacement parts for existing National Instrument hardware and compatability with existing hardware and software. The proposed action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source using SAP and commercial item procedures as set forth in FAR Parts 12 and 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
