- Description
- FISC JACKSONVILLE DET GULFPORT intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Megatech Corporation, Tewksbury, MA. This contract will be for six gas engines mock-ups for Performance Program Training (operational GM Vortec 4.3L), Model 520GM-V4.3. This program is developed so that individuals under training can receive the most up to date skills sought by industry for today?s vehicles. The program to include an operational GM Vortec 4.3L gas engine; engine test stand; instrument panel and reference material. The entire system is delivered as one unit, ready for operation based on the Vortec 4.3L engines chosen from GM. The system allows all connectors to the sensors, actuators and control units to be easily accessible. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and other than full and open competition in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1) (SOLE SOURCE) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii). Note 22 applies; however, interested persons must respond within fifteen (15) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis.
