Description

The USGS intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to SeaRobotics Corproration for two USV-1000 trimaran unmanned surface vessels and related hardware (spare batteries, DGPS system, survey and data presentation software). This is the only known source that can provide an AUTONOMOUS UNMANNED SURFACE VEHICLE to meet USGS' requirements. The proposed contract action is for goods for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Sacramento, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement to the Contracting Officer (rdonez@usgs.gov) by e-mail only no later that the response date shown on this announcement..
