- THIS IS NOT A SET-ASIDE ACQUISITION. THIS RFQ IS OPEN TO BOTH LARGE AND SMALLBUSINESS (ESTIMATED PRICE IS RANGE IS BETWEEN $25,000.00 AND $100,000.00. AWARD WILL BE PROCESSED PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. The site of the work is at the H2-O Waterfowl Protection Area, Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Helmville, Montana. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK A. Under the Base Bid Item, remove sedimentment material from the 10,370 foot long section of the ditch identified as the ?First Priority? and ?Second Priority?. Provide all labor, material and equipment necessary for the excavation and wasting of the excessive amounts of sediment material in H2-0 WPA Delivery Ditch. This spoils material may also includes silt, and muck deposited in the ditch. Work includes clearing, grading and finishing to complete the work as shown on the drawings and described in the specifications. There are also two additvie bid items for similar work on the same site. B. All materials removed shall be legally disposed of by the Contractor at an off-site disposal facility. LOCATION AND INSPECTION OF SITE A. The site for fence replacement is the H2-O Waterfowl Protection Area, Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge, Helmville, Montana. Prospective bidders may inspect the site by making arrangements with the Project Leader, Kevin Ertyl, at H2-O Waterfowl Protection Area, Benton Lake National Wildlife Refuge, 271 Cutoff Road,Helmville, Montana. Telephone number (406) 793-0050. B. Contractors are urged to visit the work sites and become familiar with existing conditions. The estimated contract price for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
