Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Portland, Oregon, has a requirement at the Kern National Wildlife Refuge Complex, at 10811 Corcoran Road, Delano, CA 93215 (Kern County) to Install or Remove & Replacement of Lift Pumps at sites #1 & #3. Site #1: Complete replacement of 30 Horse Power Lift Pump #1 at Kern NWRC. Price shall include replacement of pump with a 12,400 GPM (Gallons Per Minute) capacity pump, pump head, shaft assembly and all labor and materials to pull and replace the complete pump. Pricing excludes the reuse of existing 30 HP motor. Any motor work required shall be extra. Determination of possible motor work shall not be made until the job has started. Additional funds shall be available if motor work is required. Site #3: All labor and materials to design, construct and install a new Diesel powered lift pump system to be installed at Kern NWR lift pump #3 site including discharge pipe and fuel tank, pump head, pump, gear head, and all equipment necessary to make pump operable. Pump must be capable of pumping 7000 GPM. Project magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. This will be a "best value" procurement with award based on Price and Past Performance/Experience with similar requirements. Period of performance is 90 calendar days from issuance of the notice to proceed.
