- Classification Code: Z = Maintence, Repair or Alteration Product Code: Z223 = Earth Moving and Excavating Equipment NAICS Code: 237990 = Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction- Tunnel Construction The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Eagle Lake Field Office, Susanville, CA requires the contractor to repair a railroad tunnel which is currently used as part of a hiking trail. The Contractor will furnish all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, permits, and transportation necessary to provide the above to the specified location as stated per the Solicitation. The Solicitation has (3) specific attachments- General Information and Requirements, Tunnel Support System, and Mobilization, which cover in detail the requirements per this job. The Contractor is requested to perform this job at the location and at times as requested, per the Government. Location site is noted as per attached map with the Solicitation. Delivery time period is estimated as beginning on or about October 27, 2006 and completion within a 60 day period after that. Contract work is located in Lassen County, CA. Sites are accessible via paved or graded dirt roads. You must also be current with your registration with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) website at http://www.ccr.gov. The RFQ will be posted on or about August 15, 2006. Closing date for this RFQ will be not later than September 15, 2006, 11:59 EST. Meeting place for the tour will be the Eagle Lake Field Office at 2950 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA 96130. TIMEFRAME FOR THE TOUR IS ESTIMATED AT AN HOUR AND A HALF. GOOD ROADS TO AREA.
