D--The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) requires Information Technology Help Desk Support thoughout the country in various locations in agencies, schools, and law enforcement offices. Current support is not available in locations outside a BIA Regional Office and a few larger agencies with an IT Specialist. BIA's goal is to make available a pool of contract support positions throughout the country to respond to IT issues and problems that cannot be addressed remotely. Contract Award Amount: TBA - Contract Line Items Numbers - TBA Contract Award Date: ON OR ABOUT Wednesday, Septbemer 6, 2006 with performance beginning on or about Sunday, October 1, 2006. These are approximate dates and will vary upon number of proposals received. When the award is made, the successful vendor will also be given a Notice to Proceed letter stating that they are not to begin performance until at least 10 days after the date of the award and then only after receiving written authorization from a BIA warranted Contracting Officer. Contractor: TBA Dates and Places of Delivery: Place of Performance are wide and varied and will be outlined and detailed in the RFP materials, including the Statement of Work. Clauses and Additional Information: Please see the RFP for all clause information. Generally, FAR Clauses 52.212-1 through 52.212-5 are applicable. Further clauses have been added to the RFP pertaining to the Official Statement of Work, BIA IT Security Clauses, Privacy Act, Invoicing Procedures, Buy Indian Act, Indian Preference, Continuity of Services, and Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Prospective Offerors are advised, per Federal Requlations, that your organization MUST be fully registered on both the CCR (ccr.gov) and On-Line Representations and Certifcations (ORCA) (orca.bpn.gov) websites before an award can be made. If you are the successful offeror and your organization is NOT on either CCR or ORCA, you may lose consideration for the award until your registration is completed and processed.
