- Description
- The work consists of preparing existing levee crown and ramps for the placement of 4 of compacted aggregate resurfacing within the project limits; placement of barricades and project signs; and environmental protection. The project limits include a pproximately 10 miles of levee located in the proximity Rivervale, AR; specifically from Arkansas State Route 136 to the Marked Tree Siphon. The work will include the placement of approximately 20,000 tons of aggregate resurfacing on the levee crown and de signated ramps from within the project limits. There will be three (3) drawings. The estimated cost of the work is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This will be a HUBZone Set-aside procurement. For the purpose of this procurement to qualify as a small business concern, in addition to being independently owned and operated and not dominate in the field of operation in which it is bidding on Government contracts, the concern must have had average annual sales receipts for the preceding three fiscal years not exceeding $31.0 million. The supplies or services to be procured in this solicitation are classified under NAICS code 237990. Solicitation will issue on/about 16 Aug 2006 and bid opening will be on/about 19 Sep 2006.
