Description
DO NOT CONTACT SHERRI COMER FOR IFORMATION. PLEASE CONTACT THE POC LISTED BELOW. The Test Resource Management Center (TRMC) will hold the first workshop for the Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) Test Resources Requirements Study (ITRRS) on August 29 31, 2006, in Chicago, Illinois. The ITRRS, a Central Test and Evaluation Investment Program (CTEIP) study, is a collaborative effort between TRMC and the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) to design a roadmap that will guide future improvem ents in Department of Defense IRCM test resources, necessary to keep abreast with advancements in IRCM systems and heat-seeking missiles. In this interactive meeting, we are limiting participation to organizations responsible for either developing IRCM systems or designing tests to determine if IRCM systems meet requirements and specifications. We hope to leverage our participants knowledg e of expected future test plan use cases, which the IRCM community will use to form the baseline of the roadmap. The workshop will focus on defining drivers, use cases, architecture, test concepts and sample test plans. A second workshop in the March 200 7 timeframe will focus on IRCM test resources and will include organizations responsible for developing test resources or actually conducting IRCM testing. The goal of these workshops is to create a multi-directional exchange of current and desired capabi lities, plans, information, issues, data, lessons-learned, and best practices, which will allow us to work together to provide comprehensive IRCM resources for the Department of Defenses test needs. The workshop will be held at the W Lakeshore Hotel in Chicago beginning at 0800 on August 29 and concluding at 1200 on August 31. The meeting will be unclassified and there is no registration fee. A detailed agenda, registration form, hotel information a nd read aheads are posted on http://www.acq.osd.mil/trmc/cteip/itrrs/. Please register by August 14 if you plan to attend. The point of contact for this meeting is Leslie Morgan (leslie.morgan.ctr@osd.mil, (703) 601-5202).
