- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Fort Cars on will be awarding a Firm Fixed Price Contract for VERITAS Storage Software License .The award is a 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification system (NAICS) code for this procurement is 443120 with a small business si ze standard of 500 employees. Fort Carsons current VERITAS Software License expires on August 11, 2006 This solicitation will close on August 9, 2006, 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Proposals shall reference solicitation #W911RZ-06-Veritas. A bid sheet is available by e-mailing Erik Symanski at erik.symanski@us.army.mil . All pricing must be submitted on the bid sheet. The Period of performance will be 12 August, 2006 to August 11, 2007. Please include pricing for four additional option years. Contractor Manpower Reporting Requirement is required. Contractor will report ALL contractor manpower (including subcontra ctor manpower) required for performance of this contract. The contractor is required to completely fill in all the information in the format using the following web address Https://contractormanpower.army.pentagon.mil. For this solicitation, Fort Carson wi ll be awarding the contract based on lowest price. The Following Far provisions are applicable.
